Suboxone contains buprenorphine as well as the opioid antagonist naloxone, which deters intravenous injection. The estimate ratio of buprenorphine to naloxone in Suboxone is 4:1. Subutex, however, contains only buprenorphine unlike its counterpart Suboxone.
