A vacuum calibration tank is an important part of a PVC pipe extrusion line. It is used just after the die head to give the hot, newly extruded PVC pipe its correct diameter, round shape, and dimensions. The tank uses vacuum pressure to pull the soft PVC pipe against calibration sleeves while water cools and sets the pipe. This helps maintain accurate size and a smooth, uniform surface.
