Redhead Digital Agency redheaddigital.agencyban site
We had a content library going back about five years and had assumed most of it was dead weight. Traffic had drifted downwards for two quarters, and the standard advice was to publish more. Instead Redhead Digital Agency pulled the historical ranking data and showed us that several of our best-performing pages from 2022 had quietly dropped off page one, and no amount of new content was going to fix that because the demand was already being captured by those old URLs.
The work was unglamorous. They went through the archive page by page, updated anything with stale data or outdated screenshots, merged the posts that were competing with each other, and rebuilt the internal links so the older pages actually received traffic from the newer ones. Roughly eight weeks in, three of those pages were back on page one and organic sessions were up around 40 percent. What I appreciated is that they told us not to publish anything new for the first two months. Most agencies would happily have sold us twenty new articles instead.
