Ritalin is the trade name of Methylphenidate. Apart from Ritalin, Methylphenidate has another trade name, called Concerta. The only use of Ritalin is to treat ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), and narcolepsy. It works as a stimulant and affects the chemicals available in the brain and nerves.
