Taking Lunesta (eszopiclone) and Xanax (alprazolam) together is generally not recommended due to severe risks of excessive, compounded sedation, cognitive impairment, and dangerous respiratory depression. Both are central nervous system (CNS) depressants; combining them significantly increases the risk of dizziness, confusion, and accidents.
