Immigration Minister Sean Fraser said in a recent interview that the Department of Immigration is looking to resume the express entry draw for skilled workers in the spring. Minister Fraser was speaking with ApplyBoard in a virtual interview on issues related to international students. One of the minister's mandates is to create permanent residency routes for international students and temporary foreign workers. At the end of the interview, the Minister addressed the questions asked in the chatbox about when the express entry draw for highly skilled federal candidates will be held. The Federal High Skilled category includes eligible candidates for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), as well as the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
