Suboxone is a prescription drug that helps a person to overcome opioid dependence. Its two key components are buprenorphine, which decreases the withdrawal symptoms and the cravings, and naloxone, which stops opioids from acting. Unlike regular opioids, suboxone does not produce a high effect and would be much safer for recovering individuals.
