The Consulate General of India in Auckland hosted a farewell for outgoing High Commissioner Ms. Neeta Bhushan on 28 February, honoring her transformative tenure. Bhushan significantly advanced India–New Zealand relations, including key discussions on the Free Trade Agreement and strengthening economic and strategic cooperation. She will soon assume her role as India’s Ambassador to Poland, while Muanpuii Saiawi has been appointed as the next High Commissioner to New Zealand.
