You can block email messages directly through an email application (just as you do use on Instagram as well as Facebook). It isn't necessary to create a filter to add your email into your Spam folder. Block email features within Gmail will take care of it automatically. Go to your Gmail site within your preferred browser and sign in using your credentials. Open an email sent by the sender you'd like to block. Select the menu button in the upper-right corner. Choose to select the block (Sender) option. In the pop-up, you can confirm the popup by clicking on to confirm by clicking the button to block. button. Gmail is now telling you that all emails from this sender go to spam. If you'd like to forward the email to spammers, select the move into Spam option.
