Microsoft, in collaboration with global law enforcement agencies, has successfully dismantled the Lumma Stealer malware network. Between March and May 2025, over 394,000 Windows computers worldwide were infected by Lumma, a malware-as-a-service tool used to steal sensitive information such as passwords, credit card details, and cryptocurrency wallet credentials.
