Oxycodone 80 mg is a high-potency, extended-release opioid medication strictly reserved for patients with established opioid tolerance who require continuous, around-the-clock management for severe, chronic pain. Because of the extreme strength of an 80 mg dose, it is never used for short-term pain, mild pain, or on an "as-needed" basis. This medicine should be taken by the Opioid-Tolerant Patients and the patients who suffer from severe continuous pain or in case of an advanced state of cancer.
