Agriculture continues to play a significant role in rural life, cultural identity, and economic resilience in Grenada. Cassava is a unique crop grown on the island, both as a traditional staple and as a developing source of sustainable income. Despite the difficulties involved, small-scale cassava farming is once again gaining traction due to the growing demand for Grenadian cassava roots and by-products like cassava farine on a local and regional level.
